Martin the Movie – in the west last weekend. It’s 10 minutes long and includes footage from Roscommon hospital protests, no mention of the similar health and services cuts in Northern Ireland from the government he is a part of. He said if elected he’d raise the issue with the Taoiseach in their regular meetings. He’s also talking about opening Aras an Uachtaráin on Christmas Day for the homeless – expect that kite to come to a debate near you soon. By the way he’s looking for you to use your smartphones to send videos to him.

David Norris was in Dun Laoghaire on Sunday and went behind a stall and made an impromptu address.

There will be no Norris for President posters for the campaign, an announcement was made yesterday indicating that he believes tax payers should not have to contribute to posters for safety, environmental and aesthetic reasons.

Una Mullally’s household received election addresses from Gay Mitchell yesterday, different ones including Anorack Gay. So she put them to use.

Sean Gallagher is having a Dragons Den Lunch on Saturday at €100 a pop. The Dragons will be there but the show’s host Richard Curran will not be present as advertised.
