From reports and statements on the radio there appears to be a huge difference between John Gormley’s statement that there has been a reversal in decentralisation and a review of cuts to the Equality Authority’s budget and what Pat Carey from Fianna Fail or Angela Kerins the Chairperson of the Equality Authority are saying is the case. I see today that the Irish Times is reporting that Fine Gael are seeking clarification on what, if any, changes have been made to the cuts and decentralisation announced in Budget 2009. What is going on???
