There's an earlier newspaper item at our fav rag: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-507861/Revealed-Registrar-says-wont-gay-weddings--taking-council-tribunal.html (I would have thought she wouldn't be permitted to wear the crucifix at work either, but that's another issue.) All I can say is thanks to Lord Neuberger for putting a 'reality check' into this discussion - people should either do their jobs or make way. Happy New Year to one and all!
