Oh I was rather hoping this would happen…and yes i know all the arguments about not talking about it so they don’t get attention. I’m not buying Hunky Dorys etc. but I do think a little lashing back is good for the soul and will make those passing by think a bit.

And what to do about scantily clad women athletes displaying bare midriffs?
It’s been done and argued over a million times and it’s never worth the effort.
In my opinion, ads for maltesers or galaxy bars featuring petty minded silly girls who work in low level office jobs does far more damage that the above.
What happened to the days of direct action and a couple of cans of spray paint? I was thinking ‘Mind your balls, love’ would be a start…
May as well do away with those Diet Coke ads and other such garbage where men are objectified too. Really, aren’t there bigger issues to be concentrating on? If these ads sent the message ‘women, get back to the kitchen,’ then yes, I would absolutely be behind the ‘outrage’ that would emerge. But when you see girls going out of their way to objectify themselves in the media and in 9/10 pubs and clubs at night, it’s hard to really get annoyed at things like this. Sure, it’s a crap ad. But it’s more a crap ad in terms of it’s execution than it’s idea.
