Sure Bertie is so used at this stage to saying whatever comes into his head when he is in the Dail that it has never occurred to him that he might have stand over any of it in the tribunal. When anyone in the Dail does try and hold him to something, he waffles about soem figures until the time limit is up and the Ceann Comhairle bails him out. In the tribunal they will simply wait and wait and wait until he answers the question he has been asked.

What will we have next – Richard Bruton can’t make reference on Prime Time to something Cowen said about the budget in the Dail?
