4.9 Million for a half finished house

January 22nd, 2008 · 2 Comments · Michael Lynn

Well Glenlion went for 4.9 million at auction at 2.30pm. Not bad in the current property market I suppose – cue lots of gushing by Lisney no doubt.

Michael Lynn and his wife Brid bought it for over €5 million and mortgaged it a few times…Who get’s the cash? There are lots of investors who are out of pocket as well as the banks – but I bet the banks get their mitts at the dosh first.

One of the investors told the Breakfast Show on Newstalk this morning about his fears. The interview is available here.

Update:

Also today Michael got some national airplay for his song ‘Don’t Let Me Down’. Rick O’Shea was kind enough to put it on his playlist 😉

I managed to grab Rick’s fine analysis whilst out – excuse the interference – I’ll try get a better copy again but don’t want to deny Michael of the chance to hear his Irish radio debut!.
