He calls the Republic “South Ireland” (can’t bring himself to name it correctly) and when questioned about the consistency of being a Unionist in the Irish Seanad, he claims (very loosely) that: “We’re in the European Union so in one sense all the parliaments are inter-locked…” JMJ … like Marie wrote: “spare me”.
He mentions that Norris will get two quotas, but if you saw the letter that I got from Norris (which demonstrates where to go for a cup of ego), you’d be concerned too about the fate of the Seanad with these egos let loose.
And Sean as long as Norris is in the Seanad, there will be a unionist in the Seanad. Much as I’m fond of David N- I can remember his numerous utterances in the 80s and 90s in support of unionism and unionists, mind you he hadnt much to say about its rampant homophobia, but then neither does Jeff- log cabin republicans come to mind.
At last, the man who brought sodomy to Ulster comes down south. I suppose he will appeal to a niche audience. Like the guy though – he worked for Bob McCartney and the Cruiser in the UKUP in the 90s in the North Down area.
