With the US Elections, the recession, party conferences and X Factor amongst the items hot on the agenda I’ve been watching Simon McGarr of Tuppenceworth try out some live blogging software over the past few days.

He also watches America’s Got Talent and America’s Next Top Model in the earnest quest to perfect his live blogging technique.

Tonight I joined him for a live blog of Questions and Answers on RTE 1 – the first of the new series. We were using some new software called Scribble live. And Marc Coleman and Dick Roche were amongst the guests to keep us company.
