I’m surprised that looking at that fetching orange pants suit didn’t keep you awake! In completely unpolitical news- did you see the hilarious woman in the crowd wearing blue at 1.23mins. With her on the Democrat side they are surely a shoe-in!
Both Bill and Hillary’s speeches were brilliant set pieces and they did exactly what was politically necessary. The convention looks closer to a Clinton one, which reflects Hillary’s backing. Michelle sat awkwardly looking on last night. Like James Carville, I think there is much ‘waste’ with very flat speeches and endless amounts of syrupy praise for Obama that just gets tiresome. While it’s a long way to November, I still think many Dems won’t vote for Obama.
