Maman Poulet | Clucking away crookedly through media, politics and life

‘The Guy couldn’t call last orders…’

June 19th, 2010 · 5 Comments · Irish Politics, Social Media

Meet Trevor Gilligan, FF Councillor in Clondalkin and Newcastle. A little bit of video blogging gold this weekend.  He has a lot to say on Fine Gael, and a special shout out for Fergus O’Dowd TD. Pity his phone rang, he was only getting started.  More soon please!

(PS. Trevor’s website is a bit bereft of mentions of Fianna Fáil.)

Don’t know which is sadder – him….. or me for wishing his phone hadn’t rung. Notice how he goes from saying ‘we’ to ‘they’ when talking about FF government activities??!!

Classic. Save that link because if that ego driven councillor has any friends they will tell him to take it down. Where do start? A comedy writer and director could not make that up and the ring tone, the maps, just wonderful.

    Trevor eh.

This’d be the same Trevor who used Oireachtas envelope to promote his computer business and sent some business literature to a FG Oireachtas member.

And the same guy who at his first ever council meeting, asked what it meant when the chair announced that the first motion “was passed” [it was on the election of Cathaorleach].

He also told voters in his area at the last election that he was not a FF candidate.

I reckon it was his Mammy on the phone, telling him to come home and have his bath.

There’s something about SW Dublin? The FFers have found the interweb…..
