Zack Exley to speak in Dublin (and it’s a blogger conference!)

The European Commission Representation and the European Parliament Office in Ireland and Irishelection.com are organising a conference on blogging and social media.
The schedule for the day is available here and preregistration is required given the limited number of places available.
The line up is impressive.
Zack Exley
Margot Wallström (By videolink)
Damian O Broin
Simon McGarr
Harry McGee
Damien Mulley
Ciaran Cuffe T.D
Sen Dominic Hannigan
Tom Dukes
Suzie Byrne (MP – with my name spelt incorrectly – but it’s me)
The only woman speaker physically present in the room eh? All that testosterone… I would encourage you to register especially if you are female (coughs at those women who are starring in a certain MSM feature this weekend…)
All the buzz will be about Zack Exley of Thoughtworks Inc and the Huffington Post and Revolution in Jesusland and previously of Move On, – and it will be great to hear him speak especially during the election season that is in it.

I’m totally there! (though I don’t make a very good woman….)
Very interesting, pity that they don’t have Dutch blogger/ media theorist Mark Deuze recruited; he’s written a book I am looking out for called ‘Media Work’. I hope those attending will share the love as the issue of social activist work has great potential for civil society. Podcast for reference, info, anybody?
There in spirit though I’m not sure if that counts. Lots of love sharing please, podcasts, written reports, whatever. It would be fantastic if I could somehow hear what happens.
