Ivor Callelly suspended from Fianna Fáil

August 3rd, 2010 · No Comments · Irish Politics

This evening Senator Ivor Callely was suspended from membership of Fianna Fáil pending an investigation – this follows his resignation of the whip of the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party last month.

Ogra Fianna Fáíl have tonight released a statement saying that they are going to move a motion looking for his expulsion from the party.

TheStory.ie
have the paper work that came from the FOI request made by Luke Byrne that was in the Irish Mail on Sunday.

Meanwhile the word from my sources in Kilcrohane (where Ivor’s currently living) is that the water has been turned off in the town over the weekend and the council have been trying to fix it, there have been water tankers on site and the press have been camped out trying to spot him.

Wonder how many other FOI’s are being sent in for other members individual expenses.
