I’m getting comments and texts and having conversations with people wondering why I’m not blogging the election etc. – maybe I didn’t make it clear enough that during the campaign you’ll find me over on Irishelection.com
Given work and surviving life it’s all I can muster at the moment. The odd post here when I can but in the spirit of blogopolis go read other peoples stuff too – irishblogs.ie is a good launching ground!

It’s a bit quiet without my daily fix of Maman Poulet! Come back soon!!!!!
Good postings on ‘t’other’ site, but politics seems a bit (too) quiet at the moment. US blogs, finding Obama so boring, that they’re reduced to reporting how Dubya has to clear up dog poop himself (no, real dog shite, not the any euphemism for the state of the US economy).
The Telegraph is having a field day with expenses in the UK, but I wonder if we’d find similar stories here?
Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the meltdown of the soldiers of density, particularly as Bertie is just starting to bark like the mad dog he is on Youtube, and Cowen has gone to ground in a ditch in Tullamore having realised the Boss left him holding the brown trout when the music stopped… don’t ya miss Charlie and the way he’d fleece you, ah the good old days Mara!
Missing the doses also! Given all that stuff you’ve been through so far this year I don’t know how you keep going! Look forward to your sharp wit returning home after election and am really enjoying round ups from you and others on irishelection.com
