I’m so disappointed – Michael Lynn, Irelands ‘Lord Lucan’/Shergar/Solicitor who owes people a lot of money, was home in January and home last week for the rugby (although that’s sort of like a Shergar sighting..) Any chance he’ll come to the awards tonight and perform one of his numbers? I’m sure Damien would create space in the programme.
I’m thrilled to note that Dearbhail McDonald has finally acknowledged Michael’s muscial talent. He’s made now!
There have been unconfirmed reports that Lynn, a country and western enthusiast who earned plaudits in his youth as a wedding singer, attended a December 16 clash between Arsenal and Chelsea in London; flew in to Dublin for the recent Scotland-Ireland rugby Six Nation’s match and boarded a commercial flight to Spain in recent weeks.
One thing doesn’t sit well with me – this man took out multiple mortgages on houses, and is alleged to have committed numerous types of fraud etc. etc. etc. and he was home to sort out the lease on a car??? Eh??

What can I say, the guy loves his car! Anybody needs wheels to get around in case the weather won’t allow the private jet to take off.
That can not be that hard to understand? He surly knows how to prioritize his spending!
I know because I supplied him with a mini grand piano in Budapest last year.
Pianos are big and needs a Range Rover to pull the heavy trailer full of personal stuff! Common sense!
Great blog keep it going!!
